It is raised frequently here.
The site cannot afford the bandwidth or server space.
In addition, there are legal implications to a site hosting potentially illegal material. They do not have sufficient hours in the day to monitor uploaded video footage. |

Not knowing the HR infrastructure of Fab', I'll just presume it's low, judging by a previous post.
However, utilising the power of video for the 1'000s of members, can prove it's potential for advertisers and help increase revenue for this site, It's a 'win win' situation. I don't know how many active members are here but let's say 50'000 purchases are made at £35 per purchase on 3% commission to Fab' that's an earning of nearly £404k not bad for using video. **this is only speculative**
Just like pictures, the member can decide to have their video public or private and vetting follows the exact same rules.
Just my little thought on video on Fab' it would be a great for the site. ~Marquis

The problem is that a pic only takes a few seconds for the Pic Mods to check, whereas a 5 min video would take 5 mins to check. I can't see many volunteers wanting to spend all day watching videos of blokes wanking! I'm sure that paying people to do it would add hugely to the cost of running the site. |

You're completely correct sir. What I had in mind and failed to mention was 2 minute clips. Overall, the price of the site would go up but is that such a bad thing? Considering what other sites are charging right now for less in return. Fab' is doing a pretty good job.
We wouldn't have a problem with paying slightly more for a few extra useful features but that is our own personal acceptance. ~Marquis |

I like being a site supporter and don't mind the current charge, it's very reasonable but I wouldn't want to upload videos, should it ever become available, should I still have to pay more?

To the op, the Horny me agrees with you and as much as I have thought about asking this my sensible side always kicks in... Think about it - As much as I like watching people fuck, sifting through the crap that some would post would be a nightmare. Poorly lit rooms, muffled sound and mostly wank tributes are not my thing.
Plus regardless of the clip time (2mins)its the size of the file that matters, the format it's filmed in etc...
Agree with previous suggestions in that if you want to share a video with someone particular use kik or WhatsApp. |

Adding the ability to handle video files would cause this site to need huge additional resources . . you could end up paying more for your membership and/or "free-loaders" seeing even less?
If this site wants to make one simple, low cost tweak that would make a massive difference to how it can be used that Admin needs to sort out it's message handling and storage . . what we have at present is hardly fit for purpose.  |
