Its been mentioned pretty much ever since we joined, and hinted at for a while... any chance of event organisers (socials etc) having a facility to mailshot a message to a guestlist in one go, instead of having to copy and paste 100+ times?
As lots don't like public guestlists, this would be an addition to the organisers profile.
Pretty please, with a cheery on top? |

Good Idea! Very useful to even send a message to all your friends for updates... when they do not like it anymore they can simply removed themselves from the friends list... I cannot see what's the problem! |

"On other sites there's a group option where people genuinely interested in an event can join a group with its own blog and mailshot option .
It would be a good thing x"
Yup, that sounds something like what I want |

But more controlled than that, perhaps people ask to join a private list on the organisers profile, and then they can be accepted if they meet the attendance criteria. Once on the list, the organiser can then just click "list 1" and send a message, which everyone on the list gets..... mmmmm.... sooo much easier lol. |

That could work as an extension of the Hotlist.
People use the hotlist for different things. Being able to set up a list for a specific event, add people to that list as you dish out invites, and then a facility to mail everyone on that list.
A bit much maybe? |
