From mid-July all porn sites in the UK must have age verification in place or they’re liable to be blocked by carriers & ISPs. I’ve not heard anything from Fab about this. Very reluctant to renew my subscription if only to find I can’t access the site due to it being blocked. Anyone? |

supposedly the implementation of this has been delayed indefinitely

I dont see the problem just get age verified. Also this is not a subscription based site, you can still use it for free. The sight supporter thing is more like a donation rather than a requirement, for which they give you a few perks as a thank you. |

If this is going to affect fab,I'm sure we will hear from fab through our updates page
If in any doubt,then hide your profile on the 14th,until you know you can access it
I verified my age with my phone network,so I'm hoping that I will be able to access fab etc on my phone as usual

As others have said, it's going to be delayed again (and hopefully quietly cancelled altogether).
But, and I've not seen this confirmed anywhere, but I wondered if Fab would have been exempt as it's not commercial pornography site...? (Not that it matters - I'd be happy to verify my age, if it came to it.) |
