Any Swingers Camp Sites on our SPECIFIC route in France?

Hi all
This post is aimed at folks who have a good knowledge of the Geography of France and who can hopefully help us with suggestions for Swinger Camping Sites near our specific routes from Norhern France to Cap D’Agde.
I realise that some people might ask why we have chosen this route and the answer is that simply, google suggested this route when I set my start point as Rouen, my end point as Cap D’Adge with a stop off on the way in the Barjac region.
We are looking for some suggestions for camp sites on our SPECIFIC route from Northern France down to Cap D’Agde.
The trip we are planning is in April / May 2025. We are starting our France adventure by arriving in either Le Havre or Dieppe in our Campervan. The Ferry time from UK to either of these ports is roughly the same. We then plan to head down South to Cap D’Agde by the following route, passing through the following Major towns and Cities in the order below. We would love to find some dedicated Swinging Camp sites along the way.
The First major town we will arrive at in Northern France is Rouen. We will then join the A13 and travel south towards Versailles & Paris. We will Join the A12, West of Paris, near a place called Bailly. From the A12 we will keep heading South until the A12 merges with the N10. Along the N10 we will pass through towns such as Trappes, Coignieres, Le Perray-en-Yvelines, Rambouillet & Ablis before the N10 changes into the N191, before changing to the A10. Along the A10 we will pass through Orleans and join the A71 shortly after. Along the A71 we will keep going until Clermont-Ferrand. After Clermont-Ferrand we will keep travelling South along the A75 until a place called Viaduc de la Colagne, which is where we will Join the N88. We will now be heading East along N88, passing through towns such as Esclanèdes an Pomieres. Shortly after we will arrive in the Barjac region. We believe that there are a few DEDICATED Swinging sites in this area such as La Domaine De La Sabliere and Ran Du Chabrier. After hopefully having lots of fun in the Barjac region there are a couple of routes we can take back (South West) to Cap D’Agde.
Here’s hoping for some suggestions.
We are aware of other Swinging sites in the Dordogne region, such as La Genese and Camping Libertine Le Diamant Noir, but they are too far away to the East.

South of Clermont-Ferrand there are lots of options/routes, although the Millau Viaduct remains on our list of things to do.
But, simply out of curiosity, why are you not sticking to the N154 from Rouen to Orléans (one of or frequent routes). And if we've time we parallel the A71 with the D2020 etc., but possibly not so good with a campervan.
We don't "do" Agde etc. but we do have a boat moored on the Canal du Midi so know the area reasonably well. |

Prefer Calais down to Rouen then N154 Evereux, Dreux to Orleans and the 71 down to Claremont Ferand then the A75 all the way down.
Keeps away from Paris and whilst tolls a lot of the way down as far as Claremont Ferrand it’s a great road have done both during day and overnight and prefer to do it overnight.
Prefer to stay in Marsilian Plage at Eurocamp just a 5 minute stroll along the beach or a 15 minute drive into the complex in the evening longer drive during day as Agde tends to be quite busy through day.
Depends what you are after but I will be down there 3 weeks from end of May and then 2 weeks late July again this year all for the price that one visit inside the Naturist Village would cost. You can buy passes to get into the village as well with discount over multi day passes.
Gove me a shout if there’s anything you want to ask happy to help share what I’ve found over the last 7 or so years of visiting. Have also stayed in Vias Plage as well however not quite as handy. |

A large-scale map of France is essential, the “AA Big Road Atlas” is ideal, frequently on offer in The Works bookshops (I bought my last one for a quid).
We ourselves mostly drive more easterly through the Alps, Col d’Iseran, N85 Route Napoleon, that kind of thing. We choose a different way each time, stopping off for one or two nights, our last was Dunkerque → Laon → Reims → Troyes → Voué → Chambery → Saint-Étienne-de-Cuines → Valloire → Guillestre → Le Lauzet-Ubaye → Saint-Sauveur-sur-Tinée → Nice then along the coast to our gaff. For anybody interested in that neck of the woods we can recommend lots of routes/hotels.
But for where you guys want to end up, and taking in the Millau Viaduct - never seen it, on our bucket list - how about Calais/Dunkerque (whichever works out more convenient or cheaper) → Rouen → Chartres → Orléans → Châteauneuf-sur-Loire → Gien→ Bonny-sur-Loire → Neuvy-sur-Loire → Cosne-Cours-sur-Loire → [Sancerre] → Pouilly-sur-Loire → Moulins→ Saint-Pourçain-sur-Sioule → Charroux → Clermont-Ferrand → Millau → Cap d’Agde? |
