Naked saunas is the norm, and from my experiences in Austria, making eye contact isn't a taboo.
Brush up on your french and german cos there will be very few English speakers in the saunas and steam rooms.

Hi all, I'm heading out to the French Alps for a couple of weeks at the end of January. St Gervais / Megeve / Chamonix area. Would love to meet any fabbers, and I can accommodate the right person / people. The place I've rented has a hot tub! Mark x |

We're off to Pas de la Casa in Andorra for a week starting on the 4th of February, we've been several times, the slopes are great, perhaps not as challenging as the alps but fine for our level (and age!). The nightlife and shopping make it more interesting than many other ressorts but swinging doesn't seem to happen... Please prove us wrong!
PS, your original post was about skiing in France so sorry for talking about Andorra but Pas de la Casa is on the border between the two countries... |
