I would like to stay a week here with my wife.

We love to visit naturist beaches and swingers clubs but don’t want a holiday to be all about swinging.

Is it really full on or can you step back and have a relaxing holiday at the same time?

Ideally we would like to relax on a naturist beach during the day and maybe go to a couple of parties but would also like normal evenings where you can dress up and go somewhere nice.

It sounds a dumb question I guess but as we have never been some reviews you read lead you to believe it’s a week long sex party lol

it can be as full on as you want it to be. there are a few nice restaurants there if you just want to go and have a quiet meal out

Is there a better site to book a swingers type holiday at all? Or is it a case of just finding a regular hotel nearby and wandering down to the beach / dunes?

It’s the Village Naturist that happens to be frequented by Libertins.

It can be a non stop shagfest or a straight forward naturist environment. The choice is yours which is the beauty of the place.

Not a lot going on at the moment mind you.

You have 2 options - stay in the village and enjoy a unique atmosphere or you can stay just outside and visit as and when. Another option could be a mix of both? Cap is a great resort for everyone.

We stay at Camping Beach Garcen in Marsaillan Plage. It’s right next to the swingers beach and we then drive over to the village in the evenings which takes about 5 - 10 mins. Best of both worlds

Most of the accommodation will either be apartments of the camp site . There are only two hotels in the village , one of which is exceptionally expensive .

It can be whatever you want it to be!

If you want to arrange meets, visit clubs and go to parties every day, it can be a week long sex party.

Equally you can have a week relaxing on the beach going for meals and drinking in bars without playing once.

Not everyone there is a swinger. Naturists and families are there too.

The sex doesn't seek you out, you have to go looking for it!

The Premium Suite in Oz is a bargain 1200 to 1500 Euro per night.

I took a pic of their rate card yesterday. It’s the closest we will get to going in there.

As others have said, it's whatever you want it to be.

A typical day could be to spend the morning just chilling or looking around the shops in the village (no sex). Followed by an afternoon relaxing on the main part of the beach (no sex) Take in one of the many restaurants in the early evening (no sex) then finish off in one of the bars like Wokkers or the Bodega (no sex)

Another typical day could be an afternoon at the foam party (lots of sex) followed by a night in one of the clubs (lots of sex). You would even have time in between for a swingers social (talk about lots of sex) and go back to someones apartment for lots of sex.

It should also be pointed out that if you go to Cap as a single guy you will have a lot of do and will also have to spend money in order to get a result .

Competition on the beach is horrendous and it is questionable if it is worth tying .

Best bet is the Sauna Club with an entrance fee of 50 Euros . It opens at 2 pm . Women who want to be gang banged go in reasonably early in the afternoon as they know that men are likely to be at their peak performance then ( not having fucked anyone else ) . It closes at 1 30 am . Your result in the Sauna will range from nil to having up to four omen on an exceptional day .

Again , the competition in the Sauna is intensive and some men will literally push you aside in an attempt to get some action .

So looking at the Cap Dage area when people say "The Village" which areas form part of the "The Village" we're looking for Apartments and see areas mentioned are Port Soleil;Venus;Nature and Heliopolis.....are these in the village or which are good to stay in. We're trying to avoid driving and ideally be able to walk to "where the fun is" or a short taxi.....

Please help this is stressing me out lol Thanks xxx

All of those plus Port Ambonne are apartment blocks in the naturist village.

Once inside the village everything is close by and walkable.

The village is located just to the north east of the main resort. Google maps is your friend. If you have street view you can even do a virtual walk around.

To make it easier to find just put "Boulevard des Matelots" in the search.

It will drop you directly between Heliopolis and Port Nature.

As the poster below has stated all of the above are inside the village. You will not need to use any taxis inside the village as it is only a 15 minute walk at maximum from one end of the village to the other. You will also enjoy walking as you will see many I interesting sites .

We’ve booked an apartment in Port Ambonne in late June. Looks ok? Price not cheap , but have been told that’s what you have to pay to be inside the Village !

Between 600 and 700€ for a week in there at that time would be about the going rate.

Seems cheap for June but suppose it depends on the standard?

All the fun in Cap d Agde comes at a price. Visitors just have to accept that it is an expensive place . If you are in Port Ambonne a three minute walk maximum will have you in the Sauna, Maxines, Pilouterie Bar , Bodega Bar, the supermarket , Clair Obscur ( a bondage club ) and Juls des Mains .

Last year we paid 1400€ for last week June and 1st week July for a very nice apartment in Ambonne including garage.

Previous years we have paid similar for Port Nature.

From memory the size of apartments may also depend on location and how a building is constructed . At Port Nauture the larger ones are at the lower level and those on the top storey are much smaller . ( same for Heliopolis ) .

The size of the appartment which you require may depend on your preferences . If you do not want to organise any parties yourelf and spend most of your time out and about size may be irrelevant ( in a 15 sq metre apartment your bed will be fold down one )

However if you want to organise parties / orgies yourself you will probably require something a lot bigger ( 28 sq metres upwards ) and with a separate bedroom plus additional bedding ( via a pull out settee ) in the lounge . A balcony for drinking ( and smoking if allowed ) is also a bonus . For the truely adventorous and those who are confident or wish to perform in front of others balconies in the right location will be a good display area .

Luckily the accommodation in Cap d Agde caters for most demands ( ie from those who just want a place to sleep to those who require a luxury apartment for entertaining in or in certain cases people who may need to work from home during the day )

Cap d’Agde, France

Lots of good advise on this thread.

Our advice would be to contact people (from Fab) beforehand who you know will be there at the same time.

Otherwise you could end up wandering about feeling you’re missing out on something, (very exciting) gong on.

The Cap is unlike other swing mecca’s like PDI, Hedonism or Desire (Mexico) insomuch that the main language is not English.

If you don’t speak reasonable French, your experience will be diminished.

That being said, If your expectation’s are not ‘sky high’ you should have a jolly time.
