Is it your provider blocking premium rate numbers? |

These are some common reasons text upgrades fail:
* You're not in the UK (text upgrades only work in the UK from a UK SIM)
* You don't have sufficient credit if you're on PAYG
* You're not setup to receive adult premium content (contact your mobile network, they can age verify you and sort this)
* Your network has blocked your account from receiving premium contact because of other issues
* You don't have reception
* Your phone inbox is full |

Using it before doesn't mean you will have a reception the next time,or a full inbox etc. We had to ask our provider to take the age block off four times as they kept putting it back on....it is worth checking the things Admin advise...they are trying to help |

I had this issue in the start. Turned out my phone provider had an 18+ block on, which was preventing any adult site subscriptions. I asked them to turn that off and it worked after that. |

Mine turned my adult blocker on again last week. Seems to come back on about every 6 months. |

I had problems renewing by text, having been able to do it previously, and it was down to giffgaff having a separate setting for receiving premium rate texts that seemed to have been enabled between renewals in their app: Account-Service Settings-Data, Calls and Text settings-Premium numbers-Receive texts |

Didn’t work for me and I just left it in the end. Now I don’t have the premium thing I realised I don’t actually need it.
Moreover, a female friend of mine told me that men pay a lot more for it than women here, which kind of put me off. Sure there are good reasons but I find stuff like that a little off-putting. |

OK ..only going on what I was told which was that £5 gets more if you’re a single female. Can’t remember exactly how long but longer than the 45 days silver men get.

the person is probably just confused. Depends on when you joined depends on how many days you get, she could have thought that was different genders getting different days |

I think you get a few days more if you do a longer sign up, ie a year, rather than a monthly top up?? |

I havnt a message ban and have tried 5 times now over the last 5 days. Charged 0.125 pence per text but no reply.
I checked with 02 and I can receive premium calls etc. No idea what is wrong. I have messaged admin so will see what the issue is |
