Can you delete views?

Recently I've had a couple of _iews disappear. Can you delete them especially as you may open a profile by accident when scrolling.

No but if the person _iewing leaves the site then they’ll disappear I would have thought

That's what I would have expected, but the profiles were still active. Modern technology I guess
