Retracting verification

Hello, is it possible to retract verifications?

For example, I've verified People having met up with them and then a short time later they've just been rude or horrible, or disrespectful, so naturally I don't want to advocate for this person.

I think if you block them it removes the verification

No it isn't but if you block them the text of the verification won't show but the number count will remain the same
