I have my settings set to private for external viewing and serching of my profile.. When I search my user name on google anyone that has a verification from me and has not set there privacy however my user name still shows up....
What is more disturbing is that all forum posts show up on google, as well as the fact that the forums can be read in full with out the need of a profile id to log in....
I personally feel that the forums and its contents should NOT be avalible to non-members  |

Just googled your username and could only find cross references to other sites - but not Fab and especially not the forums |

I googled your name and didn't come up with any results in the first page at least for any sort of adult site. |

I tried "_habs" and came up with practically nothing. Then googled "Ahabs fabswingers" and was rather shocked at what I found! And no, its was "Ahabs does Smurfette"! |

I googled your name and didnt get any hits for fabswingers but another site, something about a birthday bash?
In reality their is no privacy on the internet. |

The way Fab has always worked, since it started in 2006, is for forums to be available publically (and to web spiders). We don't intend to change this because it allows people who aren't members to get some flavour of what the site is about.
If for some reason people know your username on here then presumably they could just login and see your forum posts anyway (and the rest of your profile info)?
If you're using the same username on non-adult sites then you are probably best changing your username. As a site supporter this is available to you on your MY ACCOUNT page.

I'm confused, the only thing I find when I Google your name and FabSwingers are those you have Verified and who haven't turned on their Search Engine privacy! Just ask them to turn it on, or if they won't, block them?

Best way around it is this ....
Don't put anything specific to yourself on the site (or the internet in general for that matter) if you are worried about your identity being comprimised.
It's no good screaming at Admin to address the issue - they are there to run the site not to nursmaid it's members.
We are all adults and responsible for every keystroke that we input onto the web ..... |
