I cant upload photos to my profile . is that because of my phone which is a nokia 3310 not being able to perform that function

You would need to use a laptop/pc to do uploads of pics - as the mobile has no pic facility.

There was a new version of the 3310 launched in 2017 that does have a camera. The OP would need to tell us old or new version.
