If I add a photo using my gallery direct from phone will I be charged a Multi Media Text fee by my network supplier, usually 55p, or is it the same as a WhatsApp message?

You are not sending it through a pic message on your network, you are sending it through the site, ie like adding an attachment to an E-mail
