In my experience, when you are new to the site, you do get a limited amount of messages that you can send.
The more time you spend on the site and the longer you have your profile the limit will be lifted.
The first week or so that I was on here, I rang out of messages every day!!!  |

I've only recently started paying.
But I'm sure the limit is lifted the more time you spend on the site. I only had the problem for the first week to 10 days

There is more allowance for site supporters. Most people never hit the free limit (by design) so you must send a lot of mail!
