No is the correct answer. BUT also the other end sees it marked as deleted.

This raises an important point about what is best to do when a message is received, and one is NOT interested.

Some read a message and simply don't reply, which is OK but leaves the sender not knowing what the recipient thinks.

Some read a message, and then mark it as unread. There are understandable reasons for this (thinking about it or waiting for the other half of a couple to also read it), but it also leaves the sender having even less idea if he/she is of interest or not.

Others simply delete messages and, while I agree with those who say it's rude, it DOES make the position clear.

I recommend that Fab itself actively encourages deletion of unwanted messages, with the advantages both of giving the sender a clear answer in the negative, and also of reducing the number of messages the site has to store.

"if I delete an unread message is it deleted other end ?"

to clear it up if you are the sender the other person can still read the message and reply if they want to.

If you are the recever it will show up on the senders list as deleated.

Not if you sent it to them but if you received it I think it does disappear from their sent box.
