If they are on PrEP then , apart from precautions for pregnancy, it is no more risk than oral sex.
Of course, it's always best to test regularly too.

Each to there own, PrEP isn't a protection against other STIs and I value my sexual health too much to do that but I understand why people do |

As I said in my comment, all of the other STI's can be spread just the same through oral sex and some through kissing or close body contact.
Do you avoid these too or use protection for them? |

It is as risky for everything apart from Pregnancy and HIV. |

oral sex is a much lower risk of catching all
Bare vaginal sex is more risky for the lady... as its far easier for a woman to get given something than a man is to catch something. The risk of transmission is higher.
I would never ever do Bare sex but happy to do oral without and in almost 30 years of keeping this as my way ... and testing regularly... I've never caught anything. I have regular discussions with the clinic staff when I attend and make sure I get oral as well as vaginal swabs.
I rarely take anyone but my partners cum even in my mouth.. I choose to wear it instead.
I am on prep but still use condoms for sex, and am on the implant.
Sometimes my clinic will advise me that local rates are high... I'll then take a break from swinging for a bit
