Does a comedic profile get more attention than a serious one?

why? you thinking of putting some in ya profile haha.

I think it probably helps yeah, after all, if the meet is not fun and ya can't have a few giggles, then what's the point. So having a bit of humour probably helps in deciding if your on the same wave length, along with all the other considerations

A few peeps like the comedy element of my profile, which is always nice.

I think it helps and it certainly makes a change to the profiles that seem to consist of, NO, NEVER, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, MUST and so on.

I like the guys profile which says his penis is the length of two argos pens and that he is now banned from argos

A profile needs to show personality and humour is obviously one way to do so, so I would say yes it's much better than yet another bland generic profile.

A profile should try and reflect an individuals personality...it can be a pain to try and describe yourself..my profile is shite as i alaways have to add or delete info.a bit of humour can be a benefit...lifes to short to be serious!but..if youre not naturally funny...dont try to be!

hey how's it going, comedy only helps if its funny. A great filter if the person reading it gets repulsed or doesn't get it. On the flip side, it shows creativity and effort. You can only have so many "look at my wiener" personality descriptions.

I've tried putting humour into my profile but my humour is at its best when its face to face, hard to be as funny in writing

A bit of humor is great. I have read some profiles that are so long and full of it i get bored halfway through and cant be bothered to read to the end

I like to read a profile and leave it still smiling. Best way to catch the attention

No absolutely not. Swinging should never be taken lightly - it's a very serious business.
