I'd say go with an auld tracksuit and don't bother with all that washing and cologne stuff, women don't worry about things like that

Something that compliments your figure, if you're muscular slim fit but not to the point where you're bursting out of it, if you're on the skinny side I'd go the same and if you're heavier, something a bit loose.

Best I can offer man

i still dress the same as I did when I was 17 .

But if I'm going out it'll either be in a Suit, or a Kilt depending on where I'm going.

Jeans and a shirt, clean and fresh and comfortable in himself is more important.

A nice polo shirt goes well with a lot. Wear with a blazer, nice jeans for smart casual look. Or wear with a suit also to mix it up.

Agree with most comments except the suit jacket. They make men in their 40's look old imho. But on another note, why have you no public pics with a bod like that

I love jeans, particularly, vintage. With a cotton short sleeve shirt, casual shoes. Freshly washed and ironed, helps me feel confident. Ive lost a bit of tummy bulge with this lock in, so im fitting my clothes better. I once had to buy a suit for a wedding, something i would normally dread, but i went to a shop where they had a Polish guy in the mens dept. I asked him for advise, and he spent an hour with me matching colours, shirts and ties, and by the end i had a perfectly fitting suit etc. I felt great wearing it.

I think it depends on the different variables of suit jacket/blazer.

The style, fit, what it is worn with etc.

Well fitting, arse hugging jeans, a clean shirt and leather shoes. Having said that, clothes maketh not the man.... His confidence, how he carries himself and his banter are the deciding factors.
