I remember through work meeting an Irish late 60 something man with a philapeen lady  easily half his age. He wouldn't let his new bride out of his sight for a second 
I'm sure there are happier stories out there but this was not one of them  |

Yes know a guy who did, We were all envious of him 10 years ago when he’d stroll into the pub boasting about her and all she short of doing was hoping on one leg for him waiting to finish his pints... She looked good on his arm and the things he’d tell the lads she’d do for him.. Till 3 years later she soon found her entitlements in Ireland once married, Needless to say his hard earned mortgage free house is gone so too is his little city centre cafe which was flying for him.. He has nothing now.... A job just about and living in a flat. |

A few years ago Journey played a gig at the 3Arena
The lead singer from the band is from The Philippines and it was their national holiday
50 % of the Audience were nurses and nursing home healthcare workers from The Philippines
The other 50% were couples...men in the 60's with young women from The Philippines
I asked a few men what the story was and everyone of them flew the women over to be their girlfriends.
All of them said that they got a few years out of the women before they wanted marriage but they'd get rid of them once they started nagging to get the marriage licence
