Security guard or bar man.....hated the long unsociable hours -getting home in the early morning and sleeping through the day. Sleep cycles were all over the shop. |

As an electrician I once worked for a company who did maintenance on waste water systems for a certain County Counil. All villages and towns have have a pumping station with a big underground tank that fills to a point before pumping the raw sewage on down the line until it eventually reaches the main waste water treatment plant. The pumps in these tanks can fail as can the float switches that switch the pump on when it gets to a certain level and it was my job to fix these issues which ment taking up the covers off the tank which was already after over flowing up all over the ground on a lot of occasions not to mention what is inside the tank which is basicky everything that people will put down a toilet ......yes it was a shit job! |
