Anybody know where to buy a reasonably priced hot tub ? The thought of drinks followed by some kissing and touching before going to a bedroom is on our bucket list.
Anything we should avoid ? Are they expensive to maintain ?

I got mine this time last year in homebase paid 545 for it and about another 100 for the chemicals, water pump to empty it. Best purchase ever and cant wait to get it back up for the summer |

Yep can be used all year around but I put mine away in October, the gazebo I had got wrecked in bad winds. The plan is to get a shed/small log cabin for it |

Thanks everybody. Housing one in a shed or cabin is a great idea !
We booked a hotel in Tipp a few years ago that advertised having a jacuzzi. Sounded great. Turned out to be a normal sized bath with built in jets,lol. Was nice but not what we wanted.And didn't fit 4 people either !!! |

Makes sense and probably why they only have the cleaning products on the website  Plus the queues would have been horrendous with people wanting them. The ones with built in wood burning stoves look interesting but very expensive. |

Far cheaper option is to put up a 3 sided pergola. Put up 1 for a guy recently and they are delighted with it. |

We left the filter running all the time and kept the water temp above 10°.. if it freezes it damages the pipes in the heater |

I paid roughly 2000 plus 500 for plumbing and testing. Did the tiling work myself. Its out in the garage office separate from the house. Great space for chilling. It's greedy on power |
