Not sure what will work for you OP but what worked for me was, first and foremost, patience. I’ve tried to take some half decent photos. Up to a few months ago I had a bio written explaining who I was. I can be quiet to people I do know so I started contributing on the forums which I think helped get my personality across. I managed to get to a social meet up and met a few fabbers and eventually I got my first social one on one meet. Also I paid attention to what people were saying and recommending in threads like this.
For some people it’s easier but this was my road through fab. |
