True, true, true... don't get me wrong Galway IS beautiful (apart from the traffic!) but some people, they don't seem even to get a pleasure in time-wasting, they seem oblivious that they are. It really is a Galway thing!! |

Been here under a few incarnations and have met and played with some lovely people from Galway over the years. They are certainly out there but as everyone knows everyone or their aunt/ brother/night porter/teacher/doctor etc they tend to be that bit more discreet.  |

Do you remember a band called Bush ? Gavin rossdale , married to Gwen stefani? Had to go to the US and build a name for themselves after a lot of touring and hard graft before scoring a hit in the U.K. where they came from .

Maybe instead of blaming everyone else maybe look at the common denominator in your situation.
I might have been extremely lucky but I literally set up my account when I was in Galway, met a cool couple the next day and two others within a couple of weeks.
It’s a laid back place so maybe change your approach. |
