I think hes great at what he does for the audience he gets
They love him,he loves them,he does a huge amount of charity work and an all round sound bloke
He's also not afraid to take the piss out of himself

Whilst I’m not a fan of his music, he’s been incredibly successful given his level of talent
(I wouldn’t say he’s the strongest vocalist) And he’s got the self awareness to take the mick out of himself so all in all - National Treasure |

I have one anecdote about Daniel that proves to me that he's a genuine, decent person and a national treasure. He's just a really good person even though I have no interest in listening to him singing.
I'm keeping the anecdote to myself though.

Not a fan of his music, but having met him and Majella at a charity concert, which I was helping out with, they couldn't have been nicer. There was no snobbery about them and totally down to earth. And from what I heard what others of his caliber wanted to do the concert, which he did for several years, his fee was tiny. |

I have to disagree, I heard him sing at a funeral a few years back, he was in the crowd at the back and sang a song, he was perfect, what a voice, couldn’t believe it.

My late Aunt was totally nuts about him and his music and nearly 99 times outta a Hundred when l'd call to see her she'd be listening to him which ment of course l had no choice but to as well which drove me up the walls but however .., that was the generation his music aimed for , lm personally into classic Rock music and all I'll say with everything him and his wife Majella have been through with her health concerns this guy ROCKS , he's humble , has never invited controversy ,has done some amazing things for charity ,he sang live at a fans burial via a phone , the guy carries an unbelievable human trait and that ,in a World where it's full of greed and corruption ,is a bright shining star.,he's defo a national treasure in my eyes. |
