Invites to parties / functions you don't want to go to but feel you have to. (E.g.The work Xmas party)

Yeah, I know, sounds like a grinch

Having to visit or entertain some customers that I'd rather not.

Going to Dublin at least once a month for meetings. Been there twice in last two years.

Business dress

My business wasn't shut for a day of it, but I enjoyed some of the solitude the restrictions brought that allowed me time to think. The rat race slowed down a bit.

What I missed was foreign holidays, hotel breaks, dinning out, concerts and taking my dad to the hurling games.

Enfield & Dublin

I certainly didn’t miss the massive tailbacks on the motorway as I headed to work. The checkpoints did take some of the benefits of no traffic though but it was kinda nice to chat with some of the Gardai on them. My morning commute was slashed from 2 hours plus to around 45-50 minutes.

Oh yes definitely lol i can share with you i have scared a few in the days of doing it lol. Once i opened the door with a mask on i had bags of sweets in hand, one little girl ran out the drive crying to an adult outside the house lol. Well i couldn't run fast enough out to apologise the poor child, then the twist was the little sister said "that's our teacher" lol. I didn't get the chance to remove the mask at the door to show them it wasn't real it was only me. Ok moral of the story is i didn't do that again initially it was meant for a bit of fun. However i still think today that the father should have came right into the house with the child seeing as she was so young. We did laugh about it when they discovered who i was.
