Can anyone tell the logic of driving around in a car all by yourself with a mask on ?

Taxi drivers are still doing it

Isn't the instruction to leave your mask alone once you put it on

Some companies using pool cars insist on this policy as numerous people could be using that vehicle throughout the day.

So you don't have to remember to put it on again maybe, or they're picking up someone who is or feels vulnerable?

Lots of possibilities, they're not hurting anyone, are they?

I'm pretty sure brushing your teeth while driving is more illogical than wearing a mask

We have shared vehicles in work. Could be 7/8 different people using them per day. Just common sense to try keep it clean.

We work in a pharma setting so masks to us were a thing long before covid. Wearing a mask in the shared vehicles really isn't a big deal when popping from site to site

Sometimes in my work I need to deliver some items to a number of different premises so I do a number of quick stops in succession. Leaving the mask on is easier than taking it on and off constantly.

Nope sorry, there's just no valid excuse good enough. It annoys too many people. I may make an exception if someone maybe posts a sign on the car window explaining why they are wearing one while driving alone otherwise no.

A van driver sent a pic to a radio show a few years ago of a woman brushing her hair and drinking coffee while sitting in traffic and the show cropped out the woman's face and put it on their website because she had a baby in her lap breastfeeding at the same time.

There's multitasking and then there are half wits.

OP i certainly don't wear one when alone in my car and to be quite honest with you i can't wait to see the back of them . I do see the point if it's a job requirement and sharing a car i don't see the logic actually. And if its a case of a job and the driver is alone couldn't they just sanitize but i guess like said already it's sometimes easier to just leave it on for some i guess.

That person may be driving a car which is not theirs, perhaps a garage delivering it back to a customer or perhaps someone going to pick up someone for a hospital visit. I can think of lots of reasons why one person in a car would wear a mask

I wish the damn NCT testers would be that considerate as they refuse to wear masks inside my car while testing it

who would have thought in 2019 that you could walk upto a counter in a bank, wearing a mask and demand money but not get arrested leaving the bank. Weired how things become normalised lol

There is no logic to wearing a cloth mask to stop the spread of any airborne Virus, Whoever wears a cloth mask and believes they do something remotely acceptable to some form of safety is intellectually challenged.

Whoever wears one alone is nothing more than silly, very silly.

Any man wearing one driving alone must have a missus with a vagina as dry as the Sahara. It's the biggest turn-off we see, both women and men.

Now saying this, if you're going to argue a point on this that disagrees with our statement come prepared.

Why don't you have a look for serious data that debunks what I've stated?

I can only bring the Horses to the water, you must drink yourself. (not an insult)

P.S Data compilation has nothing to do with intelligence, and in this instance wearing a cloth mask on your own points out clearly that the wearer lacks intelligence. (Aside from the legalities or mask mandates, they do next to nothing to stop the spread of a virus) In fact, there are many studies to the negative effects of mask-wearing.

Now don't be lazy and have a look and see what you can find! Or are you just posting for some attention ?

I'm not bothered, I'm just pointing out the fact that these people are intellectually challenged if they are doing it for a reason that's to do with safety. If they are doing it to virtue signal then they are gobSh1tes !

I meant to say outside of wearing for a job or sharing a car with friends abd family then i don't see the logic to being on your own in your own vehicle. In general i do believe they are not of much help really and i hate them full stop. I wear only because it's mandatory and i really just want to keep the peace to honest about it.

I understood people feel very strongly about the not wearing masks and so be it but what i don't believe is right is the recent way anti maskers demonstrating it outside kids school. I know stand up for what you believe but not in the name of young children, isn't there better ways.
