Looking for a recommendation for a central hotel in Cork city….we are due to visit shortly and looking for somewhere reasonably comfortable, walking distance to decent pubs/restaurants and ideally parking on site or close by.

Any suggestions for a nice Sunday lunch and few drinks would be good too!

Thanks for 2 great hotel recommendations….both those two look stunning!

Any suggestions for somewhere to chill over a few drinks on a Sunday afternoon and perhaps arrange meets? It’s been years since we’ve both been to Cork!

The Woodford does good casual food and drinks.

Mutton Lane has lots of dark corners, but is a bit of a dive.

Crane Lane if the weather is nice you can sit in the lane.

The Oliver plunkett is big inside and might have live music.

The Dean Hotel is new and pretty cool as well. Not badly priced either.

Enjoy the deep south
