Has anyone found that viagra doesn’t help them or partner. I get the usual morning “wood” and occasional hard on but just can’t maintain it. I was prescribed viagra but it had no effect. I don’t have much of a sex drive but would be nice to satisfy the wife. We tried tonight and I got thick but only about 75% hard which was no use. I actually felt so sorry for my wife as she was so horny. |

You don’t need to answer this.
Are you on any anti depressants or other strong medication?
They can inhibit you, even though your brain is saying otherwise, if you get what I mean.
Even Viagra gets over-ruled by some of those other meds.
As I said, you don’t need to reply. I’m just putting this out there as information to think about.
I hope it all gets sorted for the sake of the two of you. |

You need to see your doctor
Make sure your testosterone levels are ok
That any lifestyle changes are discussed
Cialis might work better
Or you might you need a pump or injection if the problem isn’t to do with blood flow

Firstly as said above are you on any other Meds because these may effect Viagra and your sex drive, Ginseng helps with sex drive , take it regularly |

Lots of things can affect sex drive. Lifestyle obviously is huge (regular exercise, healthy diet, good sleeping patterns etc), underlying medical conditions, trauma etc as well as the kind of relationship you have with yourself, with your wife.
A question I would ask is when did erections start being an issue - is it low testosterone, is it blood pressure related, did it start when you started medication etc?
Are you taking Viagra correctly? Is the dose the right one for you?
But these are all questions which you need to ask yourself and discuss with a competent and empathetic medical professional.
Good luck |

if you're low but within range that could be where the problem is. The low end of the range has been reduced as testosterone levels in men have fallen over the years. If you can afford it get it checked out with a men's health clinic. |

Viagra in the first place was ment to be a drug for high blood pressure ,then they noticed its increasing the nitric oxide wich is responsable for getting an erection, taking strong beta blocant medication with Viagra its not recommended as the bp cand drop and you can get a cardiac arrest ,you should be assesed by cardiologist and change lifestyle peripheral arteries blockages can stop you for having an erection as well but the biggest enemy is in our heads ,psychological impact is even bigger in getting an erection than enything |

Not a doctor, can't give any advice on viagra or any other meds, but you mentioned that you felt sorry for your wife as you couldn't pleasure her.
You don't need an erection nor a penis to pleasure a woman.
There's millions of different toys available at your fingertips which you can order discreetly online if visiting sex shops isn't your thing.
Oral sex and hands used in a right way tend to do the magic too.
If you love your wife - do it for her.
Obviously your own satisfaction is important too, which hopefully you will be able to get back once a doctor finds the root of the problem.

The side affects from viagra are not worth it.Banging sore head even pains in your legs, lower back etc for days.
Busy lifestyle is the biggest killer of sex drive and no time for foreplay, date nights, and just plain relaxed fun and laughter. |

So you're saying everyone that takes it will have a heart attack?
It was allegedly prescribed to him, think I would trust a Doctor over someone scaremongering, to get a bit of attention. Idiot!! |

See a doctor.
This could be a symptom of a new or worsening health issue. |

As the OP said it was prescribed to him, yes, he did say that.....there was no caveat about it being a side effect, just a statement |
