Kissing can be a massive turn on if the chemistry is right between you both. It can also be a massive turn off if the kiss doesn't work and can be the deciding factor if things go farther or not I have found.

Consensus is that its a good indicator of things to come.
Another forum mentioned no kissing as its too intimate for a swingers life style. Para phrasing here BTW.

I'm one of those who is slightly weirded out by kissing someone on the mouth other than my partner. The usual comments are "it must be cold/mechanical/blah blah" but my experiences have been quite the opposite.
I adore kissing my partner though. I'd kiss him all day long  |

Himself here. Kissing IS a turn on in it's own right... but it can be difficult to stop at kissing if other things are a possibility,
The reason kissing is such a great thing is gets both bodies ready for sex. Thats its function after all.

But: depending on the person...
I've had full on deep kisses with friends that are essentially how they casually say hello, that doesn't turn on at all.
So, it's situational I guess.

I love kissing and find it a major turn on. I believe it is a good way to start a meet, with it setting the tone of the rest of the meet .
Between kissing on the lips tongues caressing and little nipples on earlobes and little pecks teasing, leading to sensitive zones as a part of foreplay. Kissing is a large part of sex for me.
Saying all this I have met a cpl that don't kiss anyone else. Found it strange but with kissing off the table, I relayed more on touch to get turned on. It is some think it too personal and just want to kiss their own partner, to each their own, and respect for other people's boundaries a must. |

Kissing is fundamental to a good time and connection. As previous posters mention, it's a good indicator to how things are going to go. If someone is not feeling it, a kiss can tell. Plus, straight in no kissing,is not sexy,just sex. |
