Apologies, bit early with this thread considering it’s only the 31st of October. Happy Halloween folks.
This is a thread to help unverified fabbers get verified. Simply say you’re in, what area you’re from and if you’d be willing to meet in order to verify someone who’s not verified by meeting in person.  |

Post this thread while I was waiting in A&E, the next day I was admitted to hospital.  Let’s just say it wasn’t the best Halloween I’ve ever had. |

I think this is a BS process … we need veris to go to a swinger party … but to get in we need to convince others to meet us at-least once, now the point is that it may takes time to organise a meet with such restrictive profiles and rules and regulations etc u k know the drill. So some people have started meeting people just to provide a veri and validate them so they could have a valid party entry. My question is does this solves any problem ….either we should have parties without a verification related entry regulation or we should ban such groups which are providing verification just with a social coffee meet. I mean whats the point of a regulation when we have a way to gwt around it. Either meet others genuinely … do the effort and earn an entry pass, or. Just open the party for all and keep a high price entry …. |

A verification, at least initially, simply confirms that the person running the account exists and that their profile information is accurate. It also provides an indication of the sincerity of the person in as much as they made the time and effort to meet someone.
There are many zombie accounts on fab that are simply fantastists and time wasters. Verifications are the foundation of the trust based system that people use to vet potential play partners or event attendees.
Verifications can also show that someone has the requisite experience that another member maybe looking for.
There are ways to game that system but it doesn't get anyone very far.
There are events for unverified members running throughout the year. |

I agree and thats the way it should be… but why do we have these shortcut events then to get veris and then get an entry into an event … if we are so serious about the originality of a person why not ask him to get in touch with a verified person and prove your existence and skill and organise a meet with him/ her . Why do we need to have a even just so all new attendees get a veri and get eligible for a party… |

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. What is a shortcut event?
The help a fabber out thread is something that people do out of generosity because they know it can be hard for single men to get verified and it does work. Many guys on fab got their first verification through this thread and went on to enjoy the benefits of the site on whatever way suits them.
Not everyone wants to go to clubs out parties or even social events.
What do you think is the greatest barrier to you getting verified?
