Sometimes we need to bring up the old conversation that isn't in our inbox any more, so we just send a blank message to the profile then look at the whole convo through sent messages.
It does show up on receivers end tho so no sneaky ways around it |

And while you do it, you could just blurt out that you are trying to read old mails so they know. |
