What band have you heard that you've really enjoyed their music but they more or less unknown where you live.

My favourite would be Volbeat, a Danish rock band

One of my favourite songs is Lola Montez, a woman originally from Co Sligo.

City centre

Spotify tells me my niche score is 65% which means there's not much on my listening device that ppl have never heard off lol

Only one would be Sleaford Mods.

To many tunes to single out one.

But look up jobseeker live if Jules Holland, it's a hoot

Ennis

M: a few come to mind..

My favorite is probably Toehider - 2 men band consisting of a musician and an illustrator. Prog rock/folk/metal/.. Everything they want really. "this conversation is over" / "I have little to no memory of those memories"

A bit more known nowadays outside of their native Finland (although for many under a different name especially right now) : Poets of the fall

Other bands would be Oceans of slumber, Shireen, Seventh Wonder.. Just the ones I can think of right now

Red eye pariah- absolutely amazing band from Antrim. I’ve seen them a few times now.

Also Tramp - they were the warm up at the last REP gig I went to. Honestly two of the best up and coming bands I’ve heard and cannot wait to see where they go in the future.

Kilkenny, but Dublin is more fun

Andrew Jackson Jihad or referred to as AJJ sometimes.

An American folk band that have absolutely amazing well written songs that often times can sound cheery and melodious but can shock you with the deep and sometimes very dark lyrics.

Their newest album "Disposable Everything" is amazing but also depressing if you're in similar situation skeptical of where our society is heading.
