The TV series
NOT the actual town in Ireland...
It's set in the fictional town of Letterkenny in Ontario, Canada but filmed in Sudbury. Follows a group of farmers and the revolving cast of characters, including skids, jocks, degens, cross-border visitors and their neighbours in Quebec of course.
I actually needed the subtitles to follow this show.
Anybody seen it yet? My partner is addicted to it. He's Irish, from farming stock. I'm not. He gets it. I just get the hockey jokes and everything in French.
Based on the real town of.... Listowel, Ontario...
