Totally off topic but is there any hobby you've always wanted to try your hand at but never have?
I already sew, crochet, card make, bake & garden. But I've always wanted to do carpentry/woodwork. Pottery too.
Even within each of my existing hobbies, there is more I'm keen to try: crochet jewellery, Shasiko stitching in sewing.
Think I've enough to keep me busy as it is though 😬 |

I did night classes in that last year. Very satisfying to be able to make a tune! I learnt the piano when I was younger. Wouldnt mind giving that another go too 🤦♀️😅 |

Make time ...the guitar is an absolute brilliant friend , surely you have 15 mins a day to pick it up ..learn a few chords ..stick a few together & you have 100's of songs , they only person stopping you from doing that is you ...15 mins a day ?? Get cracking at it ...you won't regret it ...best 15 mins a day you'll find anywhere...well ..Sex is... but that'll be more than 15 mins 😇😇🤣🤣🤣 |

Have you watched YT vids?? Im a self taught crocheter, YT vids. Everything from making a slipknot, magic ring etc. Even how to hold the working yarn. |

I am in the same boat, I can knit and sew but just can't crochet. 🙈
But I will master it 😉

Currently wanting to get back into woodwork and very slowly building up a workshop. From this I have wanted to learn electronics to build up small electrical things to design into wood designs. I have been very stop start on the electronics and always have to start back at the beginning again 🙄🙄

Try Duolingo...i'm using it to learn German as I work there a few times a year. 15 mins a day and you'll be parfait in no time |

Always remember the excitement of getting a guitar for my 40th birthday and booking lessons as I always wanted to learn
One teacher with six pupils
First lesson I felt like the idiot in school doing my inter cert
I'd bought a guitar with the wrong strings so he kept going with the lesson with the other 5
Bought the right strings for the following week but he kept going with the others but not me as I hadn't practiced during the week
I walked out

I'vr taken up archery as a hobby, more for the social and exercise aspect than wanting to be a pro at it.
I'd love to have the time/energy/space for my other hobbies.
Watching anime, making models, painting them, learning to 3d model, print them, learn to airbrush etc.
Hmm, does fab count as a hobby too? If so, more of that. |
