Far far away

Any preferences?

I'm currently selling on vinted. Low postage, simple process.. although payments are v slow..

Depop used sporadically, didn't like its layout and navigation.

Just a question ....not selling anything but when you say payment is very slow

Do you not get paid before selling the clothes

I Love vinted , it’s easy to buy and sell on the app and the prepaid postage labels are so handy , only complaint I have with vinted is the issue of not being able to filter out French sellers and buyers . Payments can take up two weeks when you have a French buyer

I believe alot of these sites make their money by holding money.

At any one time they'll have a huge sum of capital built up which they use to make money. They wont say it, but you probably only get paid as the capital keeps getting topped up!

With Vinted, you only get paid when the buyer receives the item and submits that everything is ok with the order (or if they don't, and have not raised any issues) when the default time has elapsed.

Sounds like a triangular plan!

Just logged in to vinted, really lovely stuff on there. I'm a big believer in reusing stuff. My daughter told me a lot of kids get crazy expensive phones as gifts and sell them for cash to buy the gift they actually wanted 🤣🤣

Just discovered vinted as a buyer and love it. When selling, do you have to print your own label or is it done at the depot/post office?

Post Office can print it off , the other delivery companies are different.

It's a great app and some incredible bargains..although the offers are shocking sometimes too...I found the French sizing completely different..plus quality can be either excellent or terrible.
