Po box numbers, £1 to forward letters and Polaroid photos.
Great days, a little bit of effort and can't remember a timewaster or dreamer.

Going into the shop to buy Polariod film, the shop assistant looking at you in a funny way and you stuttering out something about a kids party needing photos, then thinking ..shit, shouldn't have mentioned kids !!!
We always looked in Loot or the top shelf magazines.
Put an advert in Loot, the postman had to knock on the door as the envelope wouldn't fit through the letterbox.
Happy mornings in bed sifting through the replies and photos.
Some letters with fine handwriting and grammar, some looked like a chimp with a crayon.
Great days and some wonderful meets leading to some of the finest house parties ever.

A friend of mine’s mother on her way to mass as she did every day met the postman on her way one morning with a box wrapped in brown paper addressed to her teenage son odd at the time to say the least he saw a very small add in the new paper called the Sunday World where it was offered 5 condoms posted in plain packaging except there was a misprint and 5k arrived
Some of the excuses he told me about trying to fob his mother off and hide them would have you in tears 😂😂😂 |

Himself and I used to use them when we met at first. Jeepers must be 20+ years ago! But more fun pre internet was going out on the pull. The joys of being young and semi ok (ish) looking. It was a lot of fun back then. |

100 years ago when I was on the pull it was fantastic to finally pull the funny part looking back was if you didn’t have a condom trying to get one off your mates who didn’t pull and not let her notice what you were doing because if she did your world would come crashing down in a loud very messy way 😂😂😂 |
