Thursday night used to be a good night in Drogheda, years since I went out in it, a good town for music, depends where you’re staying, lots of side streets, so just be aware of your surroundings if you know what I mean. Ask in reception of the hotel and they might help you, also check out the TLT online, it’s on the outskirts of town but easily accessible by taxi

Penny Moores pub is very popular and it's busy from Thursday nights onwards. Try the Boyne Valley hotel for rooms or Scholars, which is more expensive.
