Thursday night used to be a good night in Drogheda, years since I went out in it, a good town for music, depends where you’re staying, lots of side streets, so just be aware of your surroundings if you know what I mean. Ask in reception of the hotel and they might help you, also check out the TLT online, it’s on the outskirts of town but easily accessible by taxi |

"Penny Moores pub is very popular and it's busy from Thursday nights onwards. Try the Boyne Valley hotel for rooms or Scholars, which is more expensive."
