I thought that as well but read few months back that it wasn't so dunno. I like Taylor Johnson he was great in bullet train. Not sure about Henry cavill him and tom hardy would make sense but don't see either as James bond in my imagination lol |

There's already been a female 007 in the last movie
But never a female Bond and there won't be one
Just like the character will always be a white male
Amazon have already said that and since they own the franchise then that's it
I have to laugh....its in their interest to keep publicity going
They announced the director for the next film 2 weeks ago but there's no script or actor so it'll be at least 2 years before the next film is out |

Apparently Amazon want to cast someone in his 20s. I can see why they are thinking longevity but that’s probably a bit young for someone who’s meant to have been a submarine commander before joining the secret service.
I hope they don’t do another origin story, as Casino Royale did that very well (albeit almost 20 years ago). As that movie was influenced by Batman Begins, this time should probably imitate The Batman and have a young Bond, a year or two into his service, but just work on the basis that nobody heeds to see his origin story.
In terms of actor, I don’t know, I was sceptical about both Brosnan and Craig, but ended up loving both. There are plenty of young, handsome British or Irish (or Aussie) actors in my there who fit the bill - I’m happy to trust the casting directors to cast someone with a bit of edge.

after they killed bond off be interesting which direction they go do they go younger bond or just pretend last film didn't happen and cast older version I'm most intrigued in what direction there going to go was surprised they killed him off but title gave it away no time to die TBF lol |
