I wouldn't be quick to ask a potential partner their age. Having a connection and common interest is important though and can be tricky with very different ages. It very much depends on the individuals involved. |

Yes it is an absolute turn off for many on here but it is their choice and they are absolutely entitled to their preference.
There is nothing you can do about it except perhaps be coy and pretend it isn't so like I originally did and many on here still do.
My problem is when I meet people they won't believe I am actually the age I am.....ya just can't win can ya!
I find the geography gap is a much greater barrier to success on here.

I think age gaps are mostly fine. Fun even.
For myself I would draw the line with young adults as I don't feel there is a balance in the level of influence and agency that comes with decades of additional development.

No issue.had an ex who was 11 yrs older than me,she was and is still as sexy now as she was then.she rekindled with an ex her age as marriage was something she wanted sooner than i was ready for.still would if she offered as she was up for anything |

Not a problem overall. As someone has said it depends on stage or life or what someone wants. It's the connection though regardless so there's no rationale in my opinion. I'll have coffee chat with any one and see what develops. |

Personality is a huge factor for me. We are all here for fun and that chemistry is important too. I draw the line at anyone younger than my offspring, but preference is for someone with some maturity. A bit of devilment in him is always a turn on. |

At my ripe old age, I'd be extremely unlikely to be interested sexually in someone much younger than me, so anyone under 30 wouldn't be on my radar at all.
I'm a fairly youthful 55 year old and my sweet spot is often 40 - 55 but it very much depends on the person. That's especially true above 60.
Regardless of age, we have to vibe, and as superficial as it may be, I can't get excited for someone who looks fuddy-duddy. My vagina, my choice  |
