I have a song in my head .....haven't a clue what its called but its wrecking my head in.

I think its an Irish male artist

I think its about leaving Ireland to go work in America I think

There's also a lyric about parents dying ....either he never came home for the funerals or that was the last time he came home

Its like he's looking back

Could be Luke Kelly ....haven't a clue

Good fab people or even the bad ones could you help me please

I'll listen to all suggestions on Spotify and a donut to the person who gets it right with the stupid clues I've written

Could it be Streets of New York?

I think it’s maybe a Wolfe Tones song but Ryan McMullan also recorded it

He's so good - you can hear his accent in everything he sings which I love.
