The West

Duck in my house. With roasted potatoes (in duck fat) caramelised leeks, roasted brussel sprouts, carrots and orange sauce for the duck.

For dessert we had ice-cream with strawberry sauce or Mango and passion fruit mousse.

Total prep and cook time 2.5hrs

Dook

Dork had a world class roast lamb with all the trimmings with her extended family. Mashed and roasted spuds with carrots and greens.

Home made apple tart for dessert.

All day in the kitchen.

Traditional Christmas dinner here.

Turkey crown basted in beef dripping with a honey and clove glazed ham(That was in the slow cooker overnight then 2hrs at very low temp in the oven, nearly needed carved). Mash and roast spuds, roasted carrots(in with the turkey) and boiled carrots with honey. Pigs in blankets, stuffing and loads of gravel

For dessert a nice big helping of Yule log and cream.

Yum yum

"We had steak with peppercorn sauce and potatoes "

That was our dinners for the two night before. Rib eye beef one night and T-bone buffalo the second. Can’t beat a bit of buffalo.
