Irish Naturist / Nude Beaches
Jump to: Newest in thread
The Irish Naturist Association have a list of beaches throughout Ireland that are nudist friendly. The weather isn’t always our friend but, sunshine permitting, where have you been and recommend? Sallymount I’ve heard of in Wicklow and Portstewart Strand have an annual skinny dip. |

Sallymount is beautiful! Such a nice place on a sunny day, and not too many clothed. Trawalua in Sligo is very similar, both have a long walk in but well worth the visit! More locally is Whiterocks and Vico beach, both are on INA listed nudist beaches, and both are lovely. Vico is a little more difficult to get down to though.. |

Trawlua near Cliffoney in Co Sligo is my local beach to sunbathe naked. You will meet fellow naturists there and some sexual activity in the dunes if that’s what you’re after.
Walk in by the football pitch on the Mullaghmore road from Cliffoney, follow the stream to your right and head to the right across the stream when you reach the beach . I usually get my kit off when I’ve crossed the stream |

About 30 years ago,my then wife and myself made a couple of visits to a naturist friendly beach in Co.Wicklow,I seem to remember it was near Jack Whites bar and restaurant ( which did excellent food)
Haven't been down that way in years so unsure if either the beach or the pub are still there |

Sallymount is safe except when the waves are too big and chaotic.
There is a shelf/drop where the waves break, so you can get out of your depth almost immediately.
The current there can be strong, but it runs parallel to the beach - usually, around low tide the current runs north and around high tide it runs south.
You can swim with or against the current. I usually swim with, so I can walk back along the beach strutting my stuff and hoping to be approached by someone looking for cock.

Buckroney is often the same - completely deserted.
But that can be a blessing - you see much more wildlife when you are on your own.
In my mind: naturism is wanting to naked to be more at one with environment; nudism is wanting to get naked in front of other people. |

"As a Crossdresser, taking the Clothes off just makes me a naked Man.
So...it doesn't work for me!"
What is it that doesn't work for you?
Naturists beaches are for those that want to sunbathe naked,to be one with nature, naked. It's nothing to do with sex or sexuality or sexual preferences. |
