OP there's crooks in every profession. Do you not trust doctors when you hear of medical negligence? solicitors when one gets caught with his hand in the client account?
What do you propose?
A country with no Gardai? Will I call you if someone is attempting to break into my house? |

The Garda are indeed needed in Dublin, and every other part of the country. What is not needed is a force that can go above the law. What we read in the papers is just the tip of the ice berg. The coppers that stand out in the pissings of rain I have no doubt are chuffed with the penalty points being air brushed of some cronies licence. Just like the mothers who have had sons hauled to jail on false evidence by some spiteful prick driven by ego,and not his duty to protect and serve the people who pay his/her wage. |
