As usual they are all talk and hype. Rooney the most over rated player of his generation in the world. Young up and coming players not technically good enough on the ball, playground stuff, kick and rush.

Having Gerard and and Henderson on the field,,, Too slow and play negative back passing football...

Gary Cahil isn't a leader and Joe harte does nothing only Flapping in goals...

Rooney, Wellbeck, Sterling and Barkley were good... Sturridge is too wasteful and over rated

Hmmm what happened last time a mercurical south american scored two great, maybe one questionable goals against England?

If he stays fit, maybe its Luis' world cup

A well worked Liverpool goal was the difference. I await the effigies hanging from Upton Park (not)

BELFAST UK

They haven't looked sharp at all and I don't think Roy has an idea of what he is doing. To sit and name players on their mistakes is to easy but to many of them had no passion from the start, even during national anthem their was no passion apart from Joe hart

They played to their true potential, that is the best they have which is rubbish. An average South American team beat them. It was a poor game overall.

An average south american side with Luis Suarez in fairness, sky money and premier league is killing English football, no English managers and no top class English players so much money involved easier to just buy talent that produce it and that is showing in their national squad.

Liverpool supporter here but Gerrard past it at international level . Henderson exposed at it . Sterling played very well against Italy . Ran around like a headless chicken against Uruguay . Rooney was poor against Italy . Upped his game last night . Cahill also exposed without John"most likely on fabswingers" Terry . Jagielka never in a month of Sundays good enough as a starting centre back for an international side. Joe Hart is as over-rated as he is under-rated . That said with the likes of Kompany to protect him at Man City he must miss that relationship on the international front.

Baines done nothing for 2 games . Shaw is still very raw despite potential . Ashley Cole should have been in the squad.

On a brighter note there is genuine talent coming through . Adam Lallana will only improve if he gets the big move he desperately wants . Sterling is very young . Barkley certainly has the tools . Time will tell does he have the temperament to turn potential into success .

Sturridge over-rated ? His goalscoring record since he went to Liverpool has been phenomenal . with ir without Suarez in the side.

At the start of last season Sturridge was banging the goals in and people were wondering at the time would Suarez get back into the team. I think people think he's over-rated because they don't like him per se. Just because he has a dance after a goal or showboats a bit does not take away from some of the predatory goals he has scored in club football.

Rooney is over-rated . The media were comparing his early years to Pele ffs . He's a good footballer . he works his backside off . he comes up with some sensational goals every now and then . For finishing prowess he does not come near Suarez in anything .

The difference between winning and losing is a very fine margin a lot of the time . Goals win matches and when your main protagonist is luis suarex you always stand a chance . Liverpool shouldn't sell unless they get £200 million If Bale was worth 86 before last season . Suarez would have to commend a massive fee indeed

Anyway it could be worse for England they could be Ireland scratching their balls wondering if they'll ever get a chance to play in a world cup .
