That moment when you're in the middle of a job and you suddenly realise you overpriced it. It's rare but exceptionally sweet!

I actually enjoy my job. Not the most glamorous but my supervisor is giving me more responsibility, company has agreed to support me studying next year and the people I work with are mostly good craic. Only downside is the hours are a nightmare but can live with that

lol mick I know exactly what you mean It a much nicer feeling than realising you've underpriced it and your going to be working for half nothing

I was self employed in the construction industry and loved the diversity of the work , I'm now employed in a different line of work but still meet different people every day , I'm out and about and every day is different and I actualy like what I do

It's so much easier when all you have to do is get the job done and your money is in the bank every week , not to

mention Holliday pay etc

Only advice I can give is get a good CV together use your imagination on that, when you get an interview be confident and sell yourself to the company. Happy hunting...

Apart from the bad days am pritty much like you, you can wake up felling terrible , few cups of coffee help's and once above the cloud cover, sun is shining and I wouldn't like to do anything else. My teacher allways told me not to be looking out the window, was she wrong , I look out of a window every day of the week and get paid for it...

My job is nice and easy so in a way, boring. Although with christmas on the horizon and late night shopping, I may aswel start moving into the place. Let's face it, it's all about money! You can really only love your job, I think, if you would still be happy doing it for free. My initial dream is out the window, so what I would really love to do now, which would be possible if I had the know how, would be to start my own business painting murals and feature walls!

Do you know that in your last two posts you just demonstrated you have the four prime base skills required to run your own business?

You have a nice balanced view of: 1. Offering a quality product, 2. via a well considered caring service, 3. generating an appropriate fee from it, and finally 4. making a profit over a particular period of time.
