Quick question, is perception in the eye of the beholder or the ruse of the protrayer?

I ask because at the end of the day we can like a profile but how far do they genuinely go in mirroring the personalities or even looks of the owner's. In other words is it more of a case of letdown most of the time or what you see is generally what you get?

Well if you don't like the book cover why go to the hassle of reading.

People judge others quickly. Look deep. Most stories run deeper than a single paragraph...... But by judging someone, you are possibly missing on on something or someone interesting. Quirky even....

That's my point, how much of something do we think we like because of how you see it. Have you ever ate something that didn't look nice but tasted yum?

They are but you've to make it past the cover page first, and that's what our profiles are

I prefer comics, story starts on the cover then. I've never been disappointed by a comic book yet, short and sweet and extremely satisfying

A profile is like a CV. The info is basic and to the point. It's the chatting where the real info comes through. To find out about someone, you need to chat to them. Otherwise you could miss out

Yeah actually that's very true. You can get a sense of people from the forums alright. But some people are better writers than talkers and vice versa I suppose.

Lol, true but everyone has got a cover. Some have a few. Maybe we should just give up reading.
