You missed the best of soccer from Ireland I think, they were under Jack Charlton, he was the best we've had!!! People were allowed to leave work early to watch the matches, there were great atmospheres in the pubs!!! They were great times!!!!    "

I watched it in on a big screen in a crowded pub . There was huge tension during the shootout until Bonner saved one & the place erupted . When O Leary scored the whole place went mental. People on tables , drink flying all over the place , glasses breaking ! After it was over we all left the pub we met people That watched it in other pubs ! There was a carnival atmosphere ! I hope we get to see another day like that !  |

It sure was & I recall the weather being really nice too so the beer gardens were packed & lots of drink had!!!  "
Well I couldn't drink but I do remember the local creamery giving us green and white flat caps to wear lol |
