Some guys and girls no doubt are complete nut jobs so I ain't gonna meet dome random with no veris
The verifications are a good indication of people's manner and personality and as a single girl on here I wouldn't dream of meeting an you who hadn't been verified but that's just me x |

What was your intention OP? were you looking for a huge upwelling of support? Or are you just lashing out after a rejection?
Some people don't like the concept of verifications. They don't need them to meet and won't use them.
Personally i think the idea is a good one. I don't want to waste my time on someone who just won't turn up or is a bad fuck or has anger issues and lashes out at people ... |

One verification after the first meet is good, so others can see you are genuine and not a timewaster, but I dont see the need to get a verification from the same person each time we meet. If I felt a connection with someone I would meet them even if they had no verifications..we all started off with none. |

I personally don't get the fascination or worth of veris, bar getting the all important green tick.
Veris do not come into the equation at all for me, and i have been the first meet and first verification for some on here. I have faith on own judgement and found it works for me.
I personally choose not to show summary or veris, as I don't like the attention, and drama they attract, good or bad. I rather my meets decide for themselves and not because of what they read on a veri.
Whilst i like getting veris, they make me smile, but keep them to myself. I am a fairly private person and don't give much away before meeting. So don't like that insight or preview of a veri, which provides potential meet with an expectation that our meet will be judged against.
Saying that I understand the worth of veris to others, so have no issue verifying my meets.
Just think.sometimes people get obsessed with veris, rather than enjoying the journey that is fab..just my opinion   |

Have to agree with you..I think that meet verification has this site ruined..I get that its a gamble meeting strangers off the internet but isn't that the whole fun of it all..You dont know who your meeting and that's the exciting thing about it..do any other sites have this feature or is it only here  |

I'm not overly fussed by verification's. I find it embarrassing & cringy reading a synopsis of someone's performance. I've met "pigs" with glowing references & I wouldn't send my worst enemy to met them. I value my own opinion over others |

Well as a couple you had want to go see a psychologist if you agree to meet a couple without comments from at least 3 other couples...the amount of lunatic singles pretending to be couples is unreal....big supporters of comments,nothing got to do with praise,just proving ye are who ye say ye are. |

Once uve a few verifications to show ur genuine thats enough. I wont ask anyone ive met to verify me nor will i verify them unless they ask. Plus all my best verifications have left the site and they just vanished so feck that for a game of darts. Its like getting an +A in the exam and the teacher taking if off u cause the fecker retired.(not that im calling any of the people of verified me and left feckers  ) |

A few from trusted sources is all you need have, even one from a trusted source would be fine, I used to keep comments disabled on another site, but yeah they do prove your real, no doubt about it....you could disable them here and leave it as just saying verified genuine, but to be honest I'm sometimes wary of them myself, same with the triangular type veris that just lead back to the same few profiles....the veris are a good security thing to have on the site. |

It aint about praise, its to show you are genuine and maybe a bit sane too.
We all know that there is a lot of people who arent genuine on here and have been told by many about the single guys acting as couples.
I like to see profiles with comments on them, as it gives me an indication the that person is genuine.

Indeed its not about praise but to show you're genuine. We post some of ours but don't generally post any explicit ones as we believe what happens in the bedroom is between us and the other party.
We don't often get opportunity to meet and don't have time for no shows. We've been let down many times.
We tend to only meet verified profiles if this makes us "douchebags" then so be it. Someone of that mentality we wouldn't be interested in meeting anyway. |
