Macroom

Pint of Heineken is €4.20 and Guinness is €4.00 where I live in West Cork. Everywhere in Dublin seems crazy expensive.

Can anyone tell me why the Scottish got a reputation for being tight?

Three ton pub in Blackrock is a weatherspoons if you want a cheaper pint

Several here at 3.50 when the rugby/football/gaa big matches are on. Apart from that, mostly 4.00 for Guinness or 4.30 for Bud

Guys in the centre of town you will always get ripped off some places even the price goes up bye the hour . I'm sure it's the same in any big city . Go to the local pubs where you get cheap drink not in the centre of Dublin. Hope you enjoy your stay .
