Polands cheaper to manufacture from and its in the EU which will suit Nestle a lot better in the coming years. |

You guys made a decision and there are consequences coming. I don't think there will be much sympathy in Ireland for you dreaming of the old empire and thinking you're better without EU.
I'm sure there will be more businesses leaving UK, as they are to make profit for their owners and stakeholders and if you remove yourself from the bigger market, they will move somewhere to stay in that market. |

Every company is hungry for profit. But there are lessons to be learned by Nestle if they open their eyes. Look at Dell. They moved to Poland to cut wages. Who buys Dell now? Their quality fell through the floor. Same for Pfizer and loads more pharma/Med device companies. They are lured by the low wage unit costs but there is a quality and skill issue they don't anticipate.

So very true. It comes down to bottom line and where it can be produced cheaply with the biggest margins. The company that owns Cadbury is also moving out of the UK for sunnier climates while reducing the product sizes. Nothing to do with Brexit, it's just you'll find Poland have offered a better offer to get them over. Ireland have done their fair share of enticing companies to relocate here. |

i don’t think that the UK will ever recover from the long term damage Brexit does . Though the effects are only starting to become visible now( 2 years after the vote) it will take a lot more suffering until every leave voter is able and willing g to understand what supremacy ideas are made off ....even then . Once all the EU workers are gone they still have all migrants from the common wealth to blame for their misery , and they will do so , as we have seen with the deportation of the Windrush generation .
i truly believe the UK as we know it now will seize to exist and fall apart |
