Lot of well intentioned but ultimately naive bleeding heart liberals on here.

Peter Casey is sarcastic and just plain nasty in much of his delivery for sure but he is spot on in a lot of the things he is saying.

I couldn’t vote for him however.

Too much pc bullshit in this country. Like the man's honesty and he's not afraid to say what he thinks. Maybe just needs to articulate himself better so the posh folk in the Dublin media bubble can better understand him.

Fair play to Casey for saying what’s what. I had the pleasure of meeting five travelers when I moved my diggers into a site in Galway city demanding 1000 euro cash a week security money. I said no I have security and guess what , every machine was vandalized. Revenue has audited my books twice in three years. How am I supposed to find 1000 cash. Revenue won’t be after them

When Micheal D Higgins was asked his thoughts on water charges he replied " I'm not entitled to have an opion as President "

Can someone kindly tell me why he thinks he can not have an opion on something???

"When Micheal D Higgins was asked his thoughts on water charges he replied " I'm not entitled to have an opion as President "

Because his role, from a legislative point of view, is concerned with constitutional matters. And there was plenty wrong with the water charges but it wasnt "repugnant to the constitution" (Article 26). Its inappropriate for him to become involved in debates around non-unconstitutional (ugly phrase) legislation that has been passed through the houses.

Migldey isnt perfect, but he knows his role means that expressing his thoughts and opinions about certain things isnt appropriate. Hopefully the next president knows this too.

Looking for a loan of 7 kids overnight. Preferably siblings. I want to take them to the local Garda Station for an sleepover.

They'll have an adventure and I will get a free apartment in Dublin CC. I already have a nice house but it's in Wicklow, and I find it hard to go drinking with friends and colleagues at weekends.

At least this way I can have a few drinks, walk to my free apartment and not have to worry about driving home to Wicklow under the influence ??

All kids shall be returned safely.

Only normal kids though, no unruly or weird types.

Thanks

You're allowed to say what you want. Others are entitled to say what they want about that. Free speech is when the government doesnt jail you for saying something. It doesnt mean people cant call you a bigot if you say something bigoted.

Facts?

.

Margaret Cash doesn't have the apartment you state that she has.

.

The other stuff about how you "need to have X number of convictions" to get it are presumably trying to make light of the case of the non existing apartment but its not a very light hearted situation for seven children who are entirely innocent of anything their parents have done.

.

I presume you'd prefer if she was thrown out on the street and her kids put in care? Hmm...

Do you look down on all social welfare recipients and those living in social housing in the same way?

Given that the above preferences are lovely and all but not the reality, and given that she'll have extreme difficulty getting a job of any sort, what do you propose?

A open your fucking eyes. This is not anti social housing it’s anti fucking minks that threaten me and my family and demand security money. It’s anti travelers that have old people in rural Ireland petrified at night. What Casey said was 100% right.

Margaret cash and anyone like her is a burden on Irish people! I dont know how anyone can say “ah she deserves this and she deserves that” for what? Getting pregnant 7 times?? Is that a skill??

Hate is a very strong word and honestly life is too short to hate anyone! But do I trust travelers? Absolutely not

Do I respect travelers? Absolutely not do they respect me????? Not a hope.

I won’t vote for Peter Casey because in fairness he’s a tool, but do I agree on what he said probably,

It was a non contest. Once Higgins decided he was running no-one with any cop on was running against him.

If Dustin the Turkey or Bosco had run either of them would have beaten Casey into third place.

Come to think of it there is a striking resemblance between Casey and Dustin....
